Are some days worse than others following breast augmentation with regards to pain?

My g/f recently had breast augmentation (Thursday) the 21st and then had to have emergency surgery Friday the 22nd to drain a hematoma that she had as a result of her initial surgery. She had sub-muscular implant surgery. Today, her 4th day after the second surgery, her pain has been a bit more intense than the previous days……It is still tolerable though. Are some days worse than others or should her pain get better every day?

What is the best area for breast augmentation incisions?
